- Job Description- Workers will perform a variety of tasks which may include finishing surfaces of poured concrete, such as flatwork, sidewalks, roads, and barrier wall using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; and use saws to cut expansion joints. No education is required. A minimum of 6 months experience is required. Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 100 lbs. Employer will offer 40 hours of work each week, Monday-Friday 7:00 am- 4:00 PM, depending on the weather conditions. Work on Saturdays and Sundays may be required. Overtime hours available. Workers are needed to begin work on 05/1/2019 through 11/1/2019. Work will be performed in multiple work sites throughout the state of Utah. The counties in Utah include: Salt Lake, Tooele, Utah and Davis county. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. All employees will receive training for their basic duties.
- Wage Offer(s) and Availability of Overtime Pay- Workers will be paid $21.67 to $32.51 per hour; returning workers and workers with more experience may be paid higher wage rates. Over time hours may vary and will be paid at time and a half and will be paid between $32.51 to $48.77 per hour. Workers will be paid on Friday (weekly) by check. The Employer will make all deductions from the worker’s pay check required by law.
- Inbound/Outbound Transportation and Subsistence- Comers Concrete will provide or pay for the worker’s cost of transportation and daily subsistence from the place where the worker has come to work for the employer to the place of employment and return transportation and subsistence.
- Daily Transportation- Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick up location. Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations.
